Vidium is a fully custom streaming player built on the vidsrc resolution chain. One zero-dependency Node server, no upstream iframes, community skip-intro timings, and a file you can host anywhere - free tiers included.
Every route is an embeddable player. This is a real Vidium instance running on this server, playing a public test stream:
Embedding any episode or movie is one line (swap in your own instance URL):
<iframe src="https://your-instance/tv/105248/1/1"
width="100%" height="100%"
allow="autoplay; fullscreen; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture"
allowfullscreen></iframe>
Routes: /tv/{tmdbId}/{season}/{episode} and /movie/{tmdbId}
Everything is open on GitHub. The repo doubles as the one-stop self-hosted bundle: Veridium (the browse UI) and Vidium (the player) in one folder, one Node process, zero dependencies.
Vidium + the optional Veridium browse UI in a single folder. npm start for the
player, VERIDIUM=1 adds the browse UI at /browse for your own machine.
The Vidium player by itself. Delete the veridium/ folder from the
bundle and the server falls back to player-only mode automatically.
Hosting on a free tier that sleeps? gh-pages/index.html is a
drop-in wake page that forwards visitors once the server boots.
Full guide for Linux, Windows and macOS lives in the repo README.
apt, brew or winget - nothing else, no npm install, no build step.
Clone or download the repo, then npm start from the folder.
The homepage on /, the player at /tv/105248/1/1. Want the browse UI too? VERIDIUM=1 npm start puts it at /browse.
Caddy in front for automatic HTTPS, or deploy to Render free tier - README has both paths.
